WPMAEXPO is our biggest event of the year. It draws thousands of petroleum marketers and other industry professionals from all of our member states to Las Vegas for a week of seminars, mixers, speeches and events.
Currently, we plan to host WPMAEXPO 2021 at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of key event details are still up in the air.
We’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about what to expect, so we wanted to take this time to provide you with a brief overview of what we currently know and what we’re still waiting to determine.
First and foremost, we want you to know that your health and safety are our top priorities. To ensure you feel safe at WPMAEXPO 2021, we’re strictly adhering to protocols established by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We’re also working directly with local government officials in Las Vegas, as well as state regulators, including Governor Steve Sisolak.
Second, we’re collaborating with management and event planning experts at The Mirage. As Las Vegas reopens for business, these professionals are making safety decisions on a daily basis. We hope that by the time February rolls around, we’ll have a sturdy foundation of steps we can take to keep things clean, sanitary and hygienic.
Ultimately, this may mean that WPMAEXPO looks much different than it has in years past. We plan on establishing thorough cleaning protocols, posting signage that promotes social distancing and hand washing, and providing attendees guidance on how to participate in all of the events without risk of exposure.
A lot can happen between now and February. If we end up needing to cancel WPMAEXPO 2021, exhibitors will receive a FULL REFUND of monies paid. If we reschedule the event, all existing booth registrations will be transferred to the new date. However, if you’re unable to attend the new date, you’ll still receive a full refund.
If you have questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Kim White, WPMA trade show director, at email@example.com. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. We hope to see you February in Las Vegas.
