Although many petroleum businesses are still open, such as gas stations and fuel supply stores, the far-reaching effects of the pandemic have impacted our industry greatly.
Things are changing almost every day, and it’s sometimes difficult to keep up with the latest efforts and guidelines related to the pandemic. In an effort to help calm the storm and assist our members, we’ve made an effort to wrangle important resources all in one easy-to-access spot. Business resources and employment issues
If your business has had to make the tough decision to furlough or layoff employees, you’re probably wondering what steps you can take next. Fortunately, industry organizations like NACS, SIGMA, PMAA and TFFA have developed resources for business owners in this situation. If you’re concerned about employees getting pulled over or having to explain themselves as “essential workers,” NACS has also prepared access letters that you can download here.
Upcoming state conventions
There are a number of WPMA member state conventions scheduled for later this year. As you can imagine, the current climate leaves many of these events in limbo. No official decisions have been made yet, but we promise to provide regular updates on our website.
